Floor tiling with Porcelain planks
My customer wanted a hard wearing and easy to clean solution for her new conservatory floor so decided to have some floor tiling. She chose these porcelain planks from Wickes in Taunton. https//:www.wickes.co.uk
I laid them on a flexible adhesive bed and grouted with Weber Joint Pro. This will last a lifetime !
Why use porcelain for floors?
Porcelain is a very hard wearing material and is easy to maintain and clean. Partnered with a quality flexible grout, your loors will last for many years.
When referring to tiles, people often mention ceramic and porcelain tiles as the same, but in truth, there are many differences between the two. However, do these differences justify the larger price paid for porcelain?
It is true that porcelain and ceramic tiles are similar, both being part of the ceramic family, but porcelain tiles have different qualities that make them different. Before making a decision about whether to go down the ceramic or porcelain route, check some more info here
